Parts House supplies new and used automotive parts throughout New Zealand.

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time without prior notice. The latest version will always be available on our website.

2. Product Information

We make every reasonable effort to ensure product descriptions, photographs and compatibility information are accurate.

Unless otherwise stated:

• Used parts may show signs of normal wear.
• Images may be for illustration purposes.
• Colours and cosmetic condition may vary.
• Accessories, bolts or ancillary components may not be included unless specifically stated.

3. Pricing

All prices are shown in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).

Prices may change without notice.

Shipping charges are calculated separately unless otherwise specified.

4. Orders

Submitting an order does not guarantee acceptance.

We reserve the right to:

• decline any order;
• cancel an order;
• refund payment where a product is unavailable or incorrectly priced.

5. Payment

Payment must be received before goods are dispatched unless otherwise agreed.

Ownership of goods remains with Parts House until payment has been received in full.

6. Shipping

Delivery timeframes are estimates only.

We are not liable for delays caused by:

• freight companies;
• weather;
• public holidays;
• customs;
• events outside our reasonable control.

Risk passes to the customer once goods have been delivered to the nominated address.

7. Vehicle Compatibility

Customers are responsible for ensuring purchased parts are suitable for their vehicle.

Where possible, we strongly recommend providing:

• Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
• Registration (licence plate)

This allows us to verify compatibility before dispatch.

Vehicle modifications may affect compatibility, even where a part would normally fit a standard vehicle.

8. 100% Money Back Guarantee

Our 100% Money Back Guarantee applies only where all of the following conditions are met:

• The customer provided both the vehicle's VIN and licence plate number before purchase.
• Parts House confirmed compatibility using the information provided.
• The vehicle has not been modified in any way that affects the fitment, operation or suitability of the part.
• The incompatibility is due to an error in Parts House's compatibility assessment.

The guarantee does not apply where:

• only a VIN or only a licence plate was provided;
• neither was provided;
• incorrect vehicle information was supplied;
• the vehicle has been modified, altered or fitted with aftermarket components that affect compatibility;
• the part would have been suitable for a standard vehicle but is unsuitable because of modifications;
• the incorrect part was ordered contrary to our recommendation.

Where eligible, Parts House will provide either:

• a replacement part;
• store credit; or
• a full refund at our discretion.

9. Returns

Returns must be authorised before being sent back.

Parts must be:

• returned in the same condition supplied;
• not installed, damaged or altered unless the return relates to a warranty issue;
• returned within the timeframe advised by Parts House.

The customer is responsible for return freight unless the return is due to our error or is otherwise required by New Zealand consumer law.

10. Used Parts

Used automotive parts are sold with reasonable wear consistent with age and previous use.

Unless otherwise stated, cosmetic imperfections do not constitute faults.

11. Warranties

Parts House complies with its obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights customers may have under New Zealand consumer law.

Warranty claims do not cover:

• incorrect installation;
• misuse;
• neglect;
• racing or motorsport use;
• accident damage;
• modification;
• normal wear and tear.

Labour costs associated with installation or removal are not covered unless expressly agreed in writing.

12. Commercial Purchasers

Where goods are acquired for business purposes, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Parts House is not liable for:

• indirect losses;
• consequential losses;
• loss of profits;
• loss of business;
• loss of use;
• towing costs;
• accommodation costs;
• hire vehicle costs;
• labour or installation costs.

Our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the relevant product except where New Zealand law requires otherwise.

14. Intellectual Property

All website content, including text, logos, graphics and photographs, remains the property of Parts House unless otherwise stated.

No content may be copied without written permission.

15. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable New Zealand privacy legislation.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.

Any disputes shall be determined by the courts of New Zealand.
